Forest Use Restrictions
The Coastal Fire Centre may restrict forest access or activities due to the level of wildfire risk, concerns about risk to the public, or to ensure unencumbered access for fire control teams.
Officials involved with fire control have authority under the Wildfire Act and the Wildfire Regulation to order all people to leave the area of an active fire.
For the most current forest use restrictions, check out the BC Wildfire Service Fire Bans and Restrictions page.
